Our 7.5m³ general waste skip suits larger clear-outs and light building waste, with a 1,000kg included allowance. Choose seven or fourteen day hire and check delivery to your Christchurch or Selwyn address. Soil, concrete and hazardous material are excluded.

The displayed price includes GST and delivery and removal in Bands 1 and 2. Any additional delivery charge is confirmed from your address at checkout. Delivery dates are requests, subject to capacity and confirmation. Pickup is not automatic: request collection when the bin is ready. Extra hire and excess weight charges may apply under the current hire terms.

Tyres must be declared. Undeclared tyres are charged at double the applicable rate. Extra day charging otherwise begins on day 8 or 15 and continues until pickup is requested.

What can go in the skip

Keeping waste streams separate means you pay the right rate. Mixed or contaminated loads are charged at the general waste rate and may incur further charges.

Green waste

Lawn and garden clippings, trees, shrubs and bushes. Flax, toetoe, cabbage trees and long grasses must go as general waste.

Never permitted: asbestos, hazardous material, liquids, explosives or other dangerous substances. Declared tyres may be added during booking and are charged separately.

Booking questions

When does the hire period start?

Hire day one is the day after delivery. Casual extra day charging begins on day 8 or day 15 unless extra days were pre purchased.

Is pickup automatic?

No. Submit a pickup request when the bin is ready. You can request from the next operating day, subject to capacity and confirmation. Extra day charging stops when the request is submitted.

What if the load is overweight or mixed?

Excess weight is charged per kilogram. Mixed or contaminated loads revert to the general waste rate and prohibited items may incur further charges.
